Life story is a good advertisement
Tell people your life story - make it exciting, compelling, unique, self-developing, life-changing - state what's the best thing you have gained from it.

  • I make people aware that their bodies can be self-healing and self-repairing.

  • I teach mothers to feed their children right and to avoid the devitalised whites and junk food.

Do you have problems identifying leaders?
Keep a watchful eye out for distributors who are:

  • always looking for ideas and information,
  • listening to tapes, reading books,
  • attending upline meetings, leaders' meetings,
  • hanging around you to learn from your expertise,
  • independent in carrying out weekly meetings in your absence with very little supervision.

How do I find leaders?
Steal? Better to create and build leaders from scratch by giving them a 3-day book, video tape, or an audio tape test to check for action commitment.

What to teach leaders?
Change their thinking and teach them not to manage problems, but how to handle problems. Beliefs affect results. All businesses have problems - simply choose the company you want to have your problems with.

Positive approach towards 'problems'.
Have you ever wondered why women still manage to buy what they want without fail during a big sale, despite a long queue at the checkout counter and restricted mobility in the shopping mall? They ignore the problem and focus on what they want to gain.

Likewise, you don't have to fully fix the problem, yet still can earn a big cheque. When a leader encounters dog poop on the sidewalk, he will not stop, look at it, poke it with a stick, get down, examine it, get other distributors to talk about it, or write a petition to the town council to get rid of all dogs. Instead a good leader will step over the dog poop and continue on his way to do what he wants to achieve.

Create vision
Ask a downline to list 25 things he likes to do after he reaches the position of a Crown Diamond. One of mine is to fly around the world for a month with the family.

When you reach Crown Diamond, here's what happens:
Imagine you and your family board the first-class seats on a Boeing 747 and fly off to see the world, leaving your cares and work behind. Anticipate spending some time in Switzerland skiing, frolicking in the snow-covered mountains, romancing in Italy, riding on gondolas, spending some magical moments in the French Alps, tasting fabulous fine European cuisine, and shopping till you drop. When you finally come back from your well-deserved holiday, your pay cheque will be waiting for you in your mailbox.

Goal setting
My goal is to train a leader to reach the Managerial position by year-end.

Advertise your penalty
Pick an emotional (something that you hate to do] penalty for not reaching goal.
E.g., If I don't keep my goal, I will get into a double-loop roller coaster. Advertise (e-mail, phone, sms) your penalty to others so that they will motivate you and spur you on.

Create great catchy punch lines to start great 1st sentence conversations
Great catchy punch lines may include benefits, occupation, location, odd numbers, & personality.

Some way to handle PROBLEMS

Problem #1
Objection : Your products are too expensive. They are meant for the rich. Nobody wants to pay that much.

Answer : You could be right, but I think a lot of people buy for convenience, quality, reliability, service, or image.

Objection : I still think people buy because of the price factor. They want to save money and will buy the least expensive product they can.

Answer : You might be right. I don't know. Let's find out. Think of the cheapest car available and look for it on the streets. Wonder why Mercedes, Jaguars, Toyotas, and Lexus are still on the streets? Because people buy for convenience, quality, reliability, service, or image.

Problem #2
If your downline faces problems with the product, service, or order, ask him to write down details and e-mail or fax it to the NewLife™ office so that the staff can follow up on your behalf.
