he NewLife™ Charity Programme is designed for those who have a heart to give to the needy but may not have the means to do so. With this programme, it is easy and affordable for just about anyone to be charitable and socially responsible. Read on for a revolutionised way to raising funds for charity.
So, what exactly is the Charity Programme?
The entire programme works on the simple basis of products sold having 2 types of benefits:

Smart Points which are earning points "passed up" to the Charity Organisation (CO) and this will be how the funds are raised for the CO. |

Smart Saver Discount Vouchers (SDV) which are Discount Vouchers retained by the CO members who buy the Smart Saver products and save money for themselves. |

CO members (all signed up as Smart Saver) save money through the following ways:

Obtain SDV from each purchase of the Smart Saver range of products that

How does the Charity Programme work?
It is a very simple programme that allows each purchase made to have the cash
benefits passed up to the CO. The workings of the Charity Programme are:

NL presents Charity Programme to Board of CO for approval |

NL prepares the following for CO members to sign

| b. | Letter agreeing to have no upgrades on all Smart Saver accounts |
| c. | RM10/S$5 is collected from each CO member as Registration fee | |
| 4. |
NL receives the above items and prepares relevant receipts and materials for CO members
| a. | The SS Starters' Pack |
| b. | Receipt |
| c. | SS Identification Card | |
| 5. |
NL conducts a simple meeting to explain to CO members the following:
| a. | How the Programme works |
| b. | Why CO members will be supporting the CO when they buy and how the system of fund-raising works |
| c. | Where CO members can buy and collect their products |
| d. | How delivery can be made under certain circumstances |
| e. | What are the major benefits of the Programme |
| f. | How by introducing their family and friends, they will be helping to raise funds for the CO with the resultant benefit of saving money for themselves | |

NL officially informs all CO members who have signed up as Smart Saver where they can buy the Super Saver items as well as the other NewLife™ health and household items together with the relevant brochures given |

CO members introduce their family and friends to sign up as Smart Saver and they further earn eVouchers from such introductions |
| 8. |
CO members start to buy and each purchase will have all the Smart Points passed up to the CO as funds raised |
What is the likely quantum of funds that could be raised?
The likely quantum of funds that could be raised can be very easily calculated out in the following scenarios (scenario in Ringgit).

SCENARIO 1 – CO GETS 50 MEMBERS & SUPPORTERS TO SIGN AS SMART SAVER

The NewLife™ Smart Saver Programme is a powerful avenue for Charity Organisations, Service Organisations, Cooperatives and NGOs to raise funds for their activities. There is little pressure on their members and their supporters as only RM10/S$5 is required as the fee.
